Team Camp Recap and Updates
Good Afternoon Team,
We hope you are all having a great week and are well. It was SO GOOD to see you at camp! We want to give a huge shout out to our Dance Officers: Micah, Emily, Chelsey, Sydney, and Abril for doing an excellent job teaching some fun and challenging routines and classes. We are all so thankful for each of you and your leadership and talents. Virtual camp was a success thanks to all of your direct efforts!
To our Vets and Rookies, thank you for being open minded, and willing to learn in a totally new way! It was not always easy, but we found that it is doable and can be fun too! You all put in great energy throughout the week, you were able to connect with each other, and you each bring something unique and wonderful to The First Ladies.
Parents and/or Guardians, thank you for your continued support. We could not lead this team successfully without you. If you have any ideas or suggestions that you would like to share with us as we navigate virtual learning please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to communicating with you more throughout the year as well.
Reminder to First Ladies, please submit your headshots via the folder shared or by email no later than Friday, August 14. *If you do not submit a photo by the deadline it will be left out of the team introduction.*
If you were unable to make camp, please do not stress! We have videos of the routines learned in the document included in our email. The links in the document include dances we will perform this school year and additional dances just for fun from camp, and some free resources to continue to dance, strengthen, stretch, and breathe.
Reminder to submit your 10 dance hours through this link. Shoutout to Nell for already completing! The deadline for completion is Monday, September 7th.

Over the summer, families may drop off non-working Austin ISD Chromebooks at the following locations, Monday-Thursday, 9:30am-3:30pm:
The AISD Performing Arts Center (1500 Barbara Jordan Blvd; enter garage from east; exit only to Mueller)
Crockett ECHS, 5601 Manchaca Road
Please keep an eye out for communication via email, and as always reach out if you have any questions at all.
Last but not least, this time is hard for many people right now, so please take care of yourself, your loved ones, and let us know if you need any help. We are here for you all as your extended family, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We love to hear from each of you, parents included! You are all strong and confident Ladies dancing fearlessly into the new decade. Remember that everyday!
